Orlando TV Ratings: Buffalo Bills-Miami Dolphins Tops Orlando Viewers

The Miami Dolphins won something — they unseated Sunday Night Football as the most watched sports event on TV this week in Orlando.

The Buffalo Bills’ blowout win over the Miami Dolphins garnered the most watched sporting event of the week in Orlando with 271,952 viewers. It is the first weekend a non-Sunday Night Football game was the most viewed sporting event of the week. The Sunday Night Football telecast of the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions was the second most watched sporting event with 208,572.

The Bills-Dolphins game is the second most watched football game of the 2015 NFL regular season to date in Orlando only behind Week 1’s New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys Sunday Night Football game which had 286,485. The Dolphins-Bills game viewers was up from last week Dolphins-Jaguars game which drew 196,306.

Florida Gators Win Over Tennessee Most watched College Football game in Orlando. 

The Florida Gators dramatic win over the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday was the most watched college football game in Orlando so far in the 2015 season.

The game, which CBS aired, was watched by 206,977 viewers in Orlando which was the number one television program on Saturday. Up next for Florida is a home game against No 3. Ole Miss on ESPN with a primetime kick-off at 7 p.m.

UCF’s 31-14 loss to South Carolina on ESPNU at noon garnered 380,000 viewers nationally.  The Knights are back at noon on Saturday on ESPNNews against Tulane.
