Last Thursday night’s Orlando Magic game against the Golden State Warriors proved to be a ratings winner for FOX Sports Florida. The Warriors’ 130-114 win over the Magic at Amway Center was the most watched sporting event in Orlando last week.
The Magic’s loss to the Warriors was also the second most-watched Magic game on FOX Sports Florida this season with a 2.2 TV rating according to Fox Sports Florida.

The Magic’s most watched game this season to date was against the Rockets and Dwight Howard back on Dec. 23, 2015.
Its been a succesful season for the Magic and FOX Sports Florida as, according to Sports Daily Buisness Journal, The Magic have had the second biggest increase in TV ratings in local TV ratings in the NBA behind only the Warriors.
The game was also very popular in the stands as the sellout crowd of 19,189 was the biggest attended Magic game this season. The game also included several celebrities like ESPN’s college basketball anaylst Dick Vitale and pro athletes including Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals, C.C. Sabathia of the New York Yankees and Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
