Orlando City’s 1-0 win at New York City FC that aired on UniMas on Friday night drew a national audience of 182,000 which is down from the previous week’s 198,000 viewers that saw Orlando City’s 1-1 draw with Chicago Fire  according to SportsTVRatings.com.

The game had an additional 98,000 viewers on the cable channel Univision Deportes Network.

If you include the UDN numbers, the total is 280,000 which is slightly down from Orlando City’s game against the Chicago Fire of the previous week (282,000).

Last year, Orlando City games on UniMas averaged 269,000 viewers.

Orlando City’s first meeting with New York FC this season was way down from last year’s first meeting which was both franchises’ first ever game in the MLS on March 8, 2015 with 539,000 viewers. Of course that game was televised on ESPN and was on a Sunday afternoon.

Orlando City’s match on Friday was also down in viewers from last year’s meetings that aired on UniMas and FOX Sports 1 if you go by the numbers from UniMas only.

Friday night’s Orlando City win over New York FC did have more viewers if you add the UniMas and Univision Deportes audiences then last year’s Orlando City at New York FC game on July 26, 2015 which garnered 234,000 viewers exclusively on FOX Sports 1.

The viewers from Friday night was also more then New York City FC at Orlando City game on October 16, 2015 which garnered 229,000 viewers on UniMas.
