Downtown Orlando bar The Basement is offering free beer — that is right, free beer — every game until UCF wins. That is putting a lot of pressure faith in UCF to end its four-game losing streak and defeat Tulane on the road this weekend.
The Knights have undoubtedly struggled this year. The record says it all. But who knew it was this bad?
For what it is worth, UCF is currently listed as a three-point favorite over Tulane. The Green Wave went 3-9 last year and are 1-2 so far this year with only a win against Maine on their ledger (they did lose to Georgia Tech and Duke).
The Knights will hope to save The Basement some money with a win Saturday. Otherwise, things could get ugly the rest of this season.
At least everyone can afford to drown their sorrows if it gets that ugly.
