Orlando TV Ratings: Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants tops Orlando viewers

The City of Orlando loves their New York Giants. In this week’s review of Orlando TV Ratings, the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants set a new mark.

Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys game against the New York Giants  was the most watched sporting event not only of Sunday but of the fall in Orlando.

The Cowboys-Giants game which aired on FOX as the only game in the 4 p.m. time slot garnered 323,255 viewers. It is the most viewed football game in Orlando passing the first meeting between the Giants and Cowboys back in Week 1 garnering 286,485 viewers.

Keep in mind that Week 1’s Giants-Cowboys game was on primetime on NBC.

Clearly Orlando likes the Giants-Cowboys matchup as both meetings have produced the two most watched football games in the fall. The Giants were also involved in the second most watched sporting event last week as the Giants-Eagles Monday night game last week had 173,861 viewers.

Giants-Eagles was the most watched Monday Night Football game of the season to date in Orlando.

Sunday Night’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers garnered 173,421 viewers which was the third most watched sporting event of the week in Orlando.

The Eagles-Panthers game was number two in primetime in Orlando behind “Walking Dead.” CBS’s NCIS  garnered 270,351 viewers which was the most watched primetime television program in Orlando.

  1. Week 7- Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants : 323,255 viewers (4:25 p.m. start on FOX)
  2. Week 1 – New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys: 286,485 viewers (Sunday Night Football on NBC)
  3. Week 1 — Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots: 286,106 viewers (Thursday Night on NBC)
  4. Week 6 — New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts: 285,356 viewers (Sunday Night Football on NBC)
  5. Week 3 — Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins: 271,952 viewers (4:25 p.m. start on CBS)
